Beginning the Body

After two decades of integrative learning in the realms of psychotherapy, somatics, West African and Afro-Carribean spiritual healing, western herbalism, energetic healing, and reflex integration, Aisha created a structured somatic therapy called Beginning the Body. 

Beginning the Body is full of trauma informed education to build the following skills: fundamentals of mindfulness and embodiment, energy body hygiene, managing triggers and trauma responses, identifying and working with fragmented trauma parts, and somatic unwinding of both triggers and traumatic experiences. Beginning the Body is designed to be a therapy that creates a foundation for complex attachment healing, specific trauma memory desensitization and spiritual self-actualization.
